Callum Wrenn

Historical novelist of coastlines, cartography and the long shadow of war.

Callum Wrenn worked as a marine archivist in Bristol for eighteen years before publishing his first novel at fifty-one. He writes historical fiction rooted in documents — ships' manifests, land surveys, censored letters — and is known for endings that refuse easy consolation. He walks the Pembrokeshire coast path every spring, notebook in pocket.
